MICE for Trade Shows and Events

If you’re an organizer for trade shows or events devoted to MICE industry such as IMEX, IBTM, ITB, Expo Expo etc. the Trade Show / Event user type is for you. All other planners should sign up as a Planner.

We put a lot of focus into designing event listings on MICE and would be thrilled to showcase your events in our community. Event listings are free and yours to control. Through MICE you can promote your events, link to event sites, keep attendees up-to-date, circulate information, post photos and videos, and receive reviews. MICE.com is a direct marketing channel for you to increase your visibility to new attendees, exhibitors, advertisers and sponsors.

You benefit by being able to communicate with existing and potential attendees. We benefit by you utilizing our site. And, our MICERS benefit by being exposed to and informed about what’s happening the in the industry.

It’s likely we may have created your event listing for you. To access your listing simply create a personal account using your company email. Once you’ve completed your personal profile check the My Listings tab to see if you’re already an admin. If you don’t see your event under the My Listings tab you’ll want to send us a quick heads up at info@mice.com so we can add you as an admin to your listing.

If your event is not already listed please feel free to create your listing or if you prefer we can create the listing for you then add you as the admin. To create your event listing sign up for a personal account selecting your user type as Trade show/Event. Once you’ve completed your personal profile go to the My Listings tab and select + Create an Event. In all cases you’ll want to reach out so we can send you a guide plus tips on how to best navigate and promote your listing on MICE.

Asian MICE & Travel Industry To Thrive In 2016

The burgeoning MICE industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conference, Exhibitions) has been growing steadily over the past few couple of years. Despite the fact that Europe and the United States are still the major MICE markets worldwide, the Asia Pacific markets have seen rapid growth. According to the ICCA statistics report in 2014, there were over 2,400 meetings held in Asia Pacific & Middle East, which occupied 20% of worldwide meetings.

Holding more than 140 meetings in 2014, Singapore ranked the top in terms of the number of meetings per city and is regarded as the biggest MICE market in Southeast Asia. It will continue to increase the level of resources for the industry in order to grow its MICE industry in 2016.

The Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau recently announced “MICE 2020””, a blueprint for the country’s MICE industry evolution. The major themes of the project include: transforming Singapore into a “connected city””, defining an authentic, local and experience-driven meetings approach and establishing the country as the definitive MICE headquarters of Asia.

Other Southeast Asian countries are vying to knock Singapore off the top spot with their own similar efforts. Thailand MICE industry recorded over 580,000 travellers and generated around $14 million in the first three quarters of fiscal year of 2015. Bangkok’s IMPACT exhibition centre has revealed a mega project aimed at MICE professionals. $3.5 million baht is to be spent to enhance their facilities including adding a theme park along the shore of the lake
